Classic single spices

A well-stocked spice rack starts with a few essentials. Store them in a cool, dry place and they will keep their aroma much longer. Turmeric is the golden root spice that gives curries and rice their colour; the De Kweker Turmeric comes in a 1kg pack for frequent use. Fuchs ground cinnamon is a must for apple pie, porridge and spiced drinks, but also adds depth to Moroccan stews.

Curry powder and umami
